Manual Uninstall of DBA Client


In the event that you are unable to uninstall the DBA Manufacturing Client using the Add/Remove screen in the Windows Control Panel, perform the following tasks. This will completely remove the client from your PC.



This is to be done *only* on the local workstation. Do *not* delete files from the server. Instructions for a 64-bit operating system.

  1. Delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\DBA Manufacturing directory and all subdirectories.

  2. Delete the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Borland Shared\Bde directory
    (unless you have another application that uses Borland components)

  3. Run regedit.exe and remove/change the following entries in the system registry.
    *PLEASE NOTE: EDITING THE SYSTEM REGISTRY IMPROPERLY CAN RESULT IN YOUR OPERATING NO LONGER WORKING*

Delete the following key:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Ezijobz Software Ltd\DBA Manufacturing Client
If there is an entry for DBA Manufacturing Client in Add/Remove programs that does not work, delete the following key:
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{63EE5FB4-47ED-4129-82DB-E38DBACB8B0C}
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{F5693AA9-EBEB-483E-BA93-AF50551DE2A7}
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{6286D462-B647-4A0E-B371-7C592A6648ED}
Next, remove the values that point to the BDE components, only if your system does not use BDE elsewhere. These values are located in the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Shared Dlls
IMPORTANT: Only remove the Borland BDE values as appropriate. Do *NOT* remove this entire key.

4. Open Windows Explorer and type %ProgramData%\Package CacheĀ into Windows Explorer. Find the folder titled {6286D462-B647-4A0E-B371-7C592A6648ED} and delete the folder and it's contents.
5. This will complete the manual un-installation process of the DBA Manufacturing Client. You should then be able to run the DBAClientInstall.exe from the Client folder.

  1. Delete the C:\Program Files\DBA Manufacturing directory and all subdirectories.
  2. Delete the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Borland Shared\Bde directory (unless you have another application that uses Borland components)
  3. Run regedit.exe and remove/change the following entries in the system
    PLEASE NOTE: EDITING THE SYSTEM REGISTRY IMPROPERLY CAN RESULT IN YOUR OPERATING NO LONGER WORKING*

Delete the following key:

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Ezijobz Software Ltd\DBA Manufacturing Client

If there is an entry for DBA Manufacturing Client in Add/Remove programs that does not work, delete the following key:

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{63EE5FB4-47ED-4129-82DB-E38DBACB8B0C} (older versions)
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{F5693AA9-EBEB-483E-BA93-AF50551DE2A7} (newer versions)
  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{6286D462-B647-4A0E-B371-7C592A6648ED} (newest version)

Next, remove the values that point to the BDE components, only if your system does not use BDE elsewhere. These values are located in the following key:
