How Do I Change BOMs to Phantom BOMs?
In the BOM screen, you can change existing BOMs to Phantoms by changing their BOM Type on the BOM List screen.
However, in order for you to be able to select the Phantom BOM Type, the BOM needs to qualify as a phantom. This means you will need to possibly make edits to the BOM so that:
- The BOM can have no Routings listed it's Routings tab.
- It cannot contain Components that are phantoms.
- It can't have secondary outputs.
If the BOM you're trying to change to a Phantom doesn't qualify as a phantom, then you won't be able to select the 'Phantom' BOM Type when you attempt to change your BOM in the BOM List.
